Factory number 653, back pocket with chain stitch, transition period specifications just after the end of red ear,
This is a rare detail with **gold selvedge (gold-brown thread on the side seam)**.
Although the paper patch and red tab are missing, the details such as factory number 653, gold selvedge, and chain stitch on the back pocket indicate that it is a 501 made in the USA around 1980.
There are tears and damage mainly on both knees and thighs. One belt loop is frayed.
It has not been repaired, and it is in a condition where you can enjoy the vintage atmosphere.
