This vintage sterling silver ring features a large round King Manassa blue-green turquoise stone set in a strip bezel with a silver beaded border. It measures about 3/4" in total length. The stone is a domed cab which measures about 15mm across. It has a gold matrix and is polished to a smooth matte finish. There is a “J” etched on the back; this is possibly a hallmark of the artist, or the initial of a previous owner.

This ring is vintage & pre-owned and shows minor signs of wear. I performed both a "hot-needle" test and a "scratch" test on the stone. The ring is not stamped to indicate the purity of the metal, but I tested the metal with a GTE silver acid test. The results (red) indicate sterling silver. The metal is also not magnetic.
