This basket features a distinct geometric star pattern across its body, a ruffled or scalloped rim, a sturdy arched smooth handle and a footed base. These are sometimes referred to as a "Bride's Bowl." It stands 10 1/4" tall and is 10" at its widest point and 13" at its longest point. The base has a 5 1/4" diameter. This is a very heavy sturdy piece.
There are two scalloped edges that have a somewhat rough edge, and there is one scalloped edge that has a chipped place on the underside. There is a tiny bubble in the bottom. There are some bubbles within the handle on one side. None of these affect the beauty of this piece! You have to really look to find any blemishes.
