Vintage ceramic penguin napkin holder by Otagiri, made in Japan. Features three penguins standing against an iceberg-style backdrop on one side along with a single penguin on the other side with a center slot designed to hold folded paper napkins or letters. Marked © Otagiri on the base and retains the original “Hand Crafted Otagiri Japan" foil label. A fun and functional piece of vintage kitchen décor, ideal for collectors of Otagiri or animal-themed ceramics. Measures approximately 7" long and 5" tall.
One small chip on the largest penguin's foot. There is a surface crack / crazing noted on the bottom of the item. Some minor dirt in the crevices. See pictures for further details on condition.
