Step back to May 23, 1955, when a young Elvis Presley performed at the Mayfair Building (Fairgrounds) in Tyler, Texas. These 10 small Kodak prints (approx. 3½" x 5") capture Elvis backstage, signing autographs, relaxing, and performing.
These are not original negatives, they appear to be photos of photos, likely taken in the 1980s (album they were in was dated 1988) when duplicating snapshots meant photographing the originals. Printed on Kodak photo paper (see reverse photo for watermark).
Lot includes:
