Vintage 2004 Department 56 Snow Village Future Hockey Stars #55268 Accessory ~ Retired 2007
The Snow Village Collection was introduced by Department 56 in 1976. These porcelain pieces represented the 1930's & 40's bringing back many memories of holidays past from the churches where they were married, the stores they shopped, the homes in their neighborhoods. The series grew to the 1950's through the 1990's.
This accessory figurine features two children preparing an ice skating rink. The children are outfitted in their brightly colored cold weather gear. One child holds a hose in hand with water running from. The other child holds a shovel in hand to add more snow to the leaky areas. Two hockey sticks stand upright in the snow bank.
