Vintage 1988 Music Box Schmid Wooden Pet Shop Motion Action Moving Musical
"Play-mates" music box. This little diorama music box has been roughed up a bit. The front of the awning is missing some paint, the people look to have been repaired and have scuffed paint. The little dog in the doorway has scuffed paint on his ears. The cat in the window moves while the music is playing but the action is a little clunky. A name is written in pen on the bottom. Some scuffs and chipping to the sides/bottom of the shop. This is a really cute piece.
To make the player work, wind the bottom and pull out the knob on the back. Push the knob back in to stop the playing.
