MINT LNIB Pre Mattel Pleasant Kirsten American Girl Doll Original Braids BOX

MINT pre-Mattel Kirsten is basically NEW IN BOX...even though she's over 30 years old! I was told she was never played with, and never even displayed - spent her life in her box! She has all the qualities of the early dolls - squeezable vinyl, long soft eyelashes AND original braids - perfectly and neatly tied hair that is still soft and silky to the touch. She can hold a pose, bright blue eyes function as they should (no indication of silver eye), and is clean with no marks or odors. Seems she has never been undressed; I didn't want to even untie her apron...look at how perfectly it is still tied! Kirsten comes with her meet outfit - dress (tagged "OUTFIT MADE IN HUNGARY FOR PLEASANT COMPANY"), blue hair ribbons, pantalettes (elastic still tight), apron, fuzzy striped socks, and brown boots. "Meet Kirsten" book appears to be unread, and the "Kirsten Larson" 1991 pamphlet is included as well. The white box has some tape damage on the top, and initials "KD" on the sticker.
