Vintage pair of original UNITY Custom Safety Mirrors featuring the striking red heraldic lions and shield design. These are a true matching set, not mixed or similar pieces. Both mirrors are flat glass (not convex), making them ideal for period-correct hot rods, custom cars, motorcycles, or mid-century display builds.
Manufactured by Unity Manufacturing Co. of Chicago, a highly respected maker of automotive accessories during the late 1940s–1950s. Each mirror retains its original clamp-on mounting base and comes with its original Unity box. Boxes show honest age wear but remain largely intact.
Condition is VERY good for their age. Chrome housings present well with light surface wear and need cleaned/polished. Red inserts are vibrant with no lifting or peeling. Mirror glass is clean with no fogging or silver loss. These have not been modified or restored.
Sold as a matching pair, which is increasingly hard to find.
