This is a very beautiful and elegantly crafted "Black Smoke" Depression Style Glass Hen on Nest Chicken Covered Dish! This gorgeous little chicken dish is even more beautiful in person with all the timeless embossed details coupled with a beautiful and popular semi-transparent black smoke appearance. There is a makers mark on the underside of the base that has a small WG stamp, and another stamp on the inside with an R with a box around it. This dish measures 3 & 1/2" long by 3 & 1/4" in height and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks!
This is a high quality vintage style depression glass reproduction hen on nest candy dish manufactured from the original Westmoreland mold. These dishes were made popular in the 1990's by looking and feeling identical to the original dishes but at a fraction of the cost.
