VINTAGE Clear Glass Horse Head Candy Containers Johnston’s Milwaukee - Pair.
Beautiful pair of vintage clear glass horse head figurines. These were originally produced as candy containers for Johnston Candies and Chocolate (based in Milwaukee and New York).
These heavy glass pieces feature a classic Art Deco-inspired "chess piece" design with a flowing mane and detailed facial features. While they make excellent decorative figurines or small bookends, they are highly collectible pieces of candy container history.
Condition Details:
●Authenticity: One container still retains a partial original paper label from Johnston Candies.
●Glass Clarity: Both pieces are in good vintage condition with clear glass.
●Wear: There is some light surface wear and minor "flea bites" (tiny nicks) along the bottom edges/corners consistent with age and use.
