Beautiful and well-constructed VICTORIAN French Jet, 10KGF, Cross Mourning Brooch.
Measuring 1 1/4" x 1" x 3/8" deep with a secure ANTIQUE T-Hinge and C-Clasp, this Memento Mori piece dates from the 1860-1880 period.
Constructed of Black French Jet Glass with four decorative 10K Gold Filled end caps.
Fine Antique Condition ~ Nice patina. In the history of this piece, the original pin stem was replaced. This does not detract from the usability of this 143+-year-old jewelry piece, but is reflected in the price.
