Please see pics for condition. Sand timer advertisement. It says "time your telephone and eggs 3 minutes Birthday greetings from the Thornton & Minor Sanitarium Kansas City MO." I believe there was text on the bottom but you can no longer see it. This is from the early 1900s, I think 1905. Timer still works. This sand timer displays significant wear consistent with its early 1900s age, showing heavy surface oxidation and patina throughout the metal backing with areas of text becoming faded but still readable.
