The pattern, known as "Alaska" or "Band and Ribbon," features horizontal bands and a ruffled, opalescent rim.
It was produced by the Northwood Glass Company around the turn of the 20th century, specifically between 1897 and 1903.
The bowl sits on four "lion's leg" or "claw" feet.
It was originally intended as a small berry bowl, but can be used as a candy dish or for other small items
