Pre-owned vintage Donegal handwoven 100% pure new wool tweed hat. Working snap closures. Found one stain inside trim, please see photo. I have not dry cleaned or washed this hat. No tears or holes. Size is marked on the label 7 1/8 58. Label on the rim has following info: 100% pure new wool, made in the Republic of Ireland. T. O’ Gorman & Sons, Cork. Other label, French Creek Sheep and Wool Co.
Large label: Donegal Handwoven, this tweed was handwoven from pure new wool in my small cottage in county Donegal Ireland. Like my forefathers, I have put something of my own character into this cloth, ruggedness to wear well, softness for comfort, colors from our countryside, joy and health to you who wear this, Daniel O Donnell weaver.
