HOW Cue Shaft AP.Plus
The joint is radial.
The tip is Kamui Athlete M.
It has only been used for about 10 shots since it was installed.
I purchased it as a spare shaft, but I haven't used it, so I'm selling it.
I bought it as a new/unused item, but it's in beautiful condition as it was only test-hit.
I had the ferrule diameter adjusted to 12.0mm and the taper processed to a straight taper (pro taper) at a repair shop after purchase.
I have been using HOW cues for many years since they were released in Japan, and I have adjusted many AP.Plus shafts and enjoyed them, but in my opinion, this processing provides the best cue ball deflection and feel.
During the processing, I adjusted it while working with a craftsman at the workshop, and the craftsman also confirmed it.
I have tested it by attaching it to both of my HOW butts (Pro Series, ZR Series).
This taper provides good cue ball action with a normal shaft, but it seems that if you process it into a high-tech shaft with carbon fiber inside, the return when you apply spin becomes too strong, resulting in reverse cue ball deflection.
The ferrule was processed to be slightly shorter than usual when I purchased the shaft.
I kept it as a spare shaft and stored it in a cue case at home (with a desiccant).
When rolled on a table, there is a warp of about the thickness of a single sheet of paper, but I don't think it will affect the use.
We accept inquiries and price negotiations.
