Mad Men alert, get your martini glass ready for the prettiest 60s lurex and sequin top around! Such a beautiful example of this style, which was popular in evening wear in the late 50s and early 60s. Shimmery black lurex with a net of sequins bordering the bottom third, back zipper fastening. Rounded neck and somewhat cropped length, darts at the bust for a body hugging fit. Pair it with a sleek long black satin skirt for a real "Breakfast at Tiffanys" look! An "Emiliana Modell", which I believe was a German fashion house, this piece was purchased in Amsterdam.
Very good vintage condition, the back middle sequin area has some visible large threads (last photo), so although the zipper works perfectly I wouldnt lower it beyond the point at the bottom where the sequins begin.
