The central cartouche form is derived from the ancient shen ring, a symbol meaning “to encircle," historically associated with eternity and protection. Within the cartouche are stylized hieroglyphic elements rendered in raised relief.

Flanking the cartouche are winged uraeus cobras, among the most powerful protective symbols in ancient Egypt. The uraeus represented royal authority, vigilance, and divine guardianship, often used to protect sacred names and spaces.
