A piece of Dallas fashion history in "distressed" condition. This is an authentic 1950s Donovan-Galvani shirtwaist dress made of airy yellow and white striped cotton voile.
Why it's cool (despite the flaws): The construction is amazing. The pleats on the bodice and hips are engineered to manipulate the striped pattern, creating a slimming solid yellow look that flares into stripes. It’s a brilliant example of mid-century tailoring.
