【Product Description】
This ultra-wide-angle zoom lens is designed for entry-level users, combining a compact, lightweight design with high image quality, and is suitable for APS-C size image sensors.
The newly developed optical system features two aspherical lenses and one UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass lens. The use of a high-precision, large-diameter plastic molded aspherical lens, in particular, contributes to both the compact, lightweight design and high image quality.
This is the first EF-S lens to feature IS (Image Stabilization), an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that further expands the shooting range for capturing grand landscapes using its wide angle of view, and for snapshot photography indoors where it's difficult to maintain distance from the subject.
