Antique Nagoya Obi, Blue-Gray Satin, Bamboo Grass, Cherry Blossoms, Birds, Embroidered Belt

This is an antique Nagoya obi (satin obi) that I received here. It was noted that there were some scuffs, fuzzing, and fading. The fuzzing of the embroidery is not noticeable.

I wore it once and have been storing it in a tansu (Japanese chest of drawers).

Photo 6:
This is the front pattern. There is embroidery on one side only.
There is some fading at the top, but it's not very noticeable due to the glossy fabric.

Photo 7:
There is a scuff on the left side of the cherry blossom at the bottom.
It will be hidden if you tie it like in Photo 9.
Also, from the top cherry blossom to the bottom petals, there is a length of 35cm, so it can be hidden depending on how you make the otaiko (drum) knot.

Photo 8:
There is a scuff on the left side of the top cherry blossom.
I don't think it's noticeable because of the glossy fabric.
If you make the otaiko like in Photo 9, the scuff in Photo 7 will also be almost completely hidden.
The length of the otaiko in Photo 9 is 31cm.

The cherry blossoms peek out modestly, so I think you can use it from this season for a while. Also, as an antique, it can still be used sufficiently, and the length is ample, so it's reassuring.
I will sell it for less than half the purchase price.
