Fantastic historic meat carving and serving
tray from Kithurst Staybrite Stainless. This
refers to the pioneering stainless steel
developed by Harry Brearley
in Sheffield, UK, around 1913, marketed as
"Staybrite" by Firth Vickers, & known for its
corrosion resistance (18/8 chromium-nickel).
This tray has spikes to hold your roast for
carving and 3 indented compartments to catch
the drippings. This tray measures 17 1/2"
long handle to handle and 12" wide. The
drip sections are 2" deep. Just overall this
is a super practical and useful kitchen
item in excellent condition. There are 2
areas of brown on the back from placing
on a stove top. And some utility scratched
on the floor of this meat carving tray. This
tray will last several life times yet lightweight.
Best of all - just pop this in the dishwasher
at the end of your meal. Sale supports
Vermont's Puppetree. Thank you and
please check our Support Store for lots
more vintage stainless steel.
