VTG Westclox Big Ben Loud Alarm Clock Style 5 Black & Nickel - 1940s, WORKING.
This iconic timepiece features the bold "Loud Alarm" movement and the classic black/gunmetal finish with a matching black dial and white Arabic numerals.
Designed by Henry Dreyfuss, the Style 5 is a masterpiece of Art Deco industrial design and remains one of the most recognizable alarm clocks in history.
Product Details:
●Functionality: Tested and working. The clock ticks strongly and keeps time. The "Loud Alarm" is fully functional and lives up to its name!
●Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. The lens is clear with minimal scratching. The black casing shows a nice vintage patina with very minor wear consistent with age (please see photos for exact condition).
●Back Markings: Stamped with US Patents 1583431, 1709146, 1848520, and Design Patent D114262.
Note: As with all vintage mechanical clocks, a professional cleaning/servicing is recommended for long-term daily use.
