Excellent Condition.
This is an antique English Victorian copper lusterware pitcher / jug, dating from the late 19th century.
 It features a metallic glaze finish with blue painted decoration. The metallic glaze finish was achieved by using metallic oxides. 
The body of the jug is molded in relief. 
It has two dancing couples molded in relief.
 7 1/2 inches.
Copper lustreware was popular during the Victorian era as its reflective surface caught the
candlelight and gas light in homes. 
These items were typically manufactured in Staffordshire, England, though many lack a specific maker's mark.
