Sevres France Antique Chamber Pot w/Lid & Wooden Handle White Circa 1830 NOTE

Pertinent Information:
Restoration Period (1814-1824): After Napoleon's defeat, the French monarchy was restored under Louis XVIII. During this time, the Sèvres factory reintroduced the double L mark and also used a painted blue Sèvres mark that incorporated the fleur-de-lis and the word "sevres" from 1814 to 1824.
​Post-Restoration (Around 1830): The fleur-de-lis mark is also specifically identified as a "Fleur-de-lis 1830 Sevres mark." This suggests its use continued or was re-emphasized around that year.

This piece does not have the "double L" mark, but has the fleur-de-lis and Sevres name.

Note- this chamber pot was clearly used and shows considerable wear. Additionally it has spots where adhesive was used, perhaps to secure wrapping throughout the years, as it moved around. We have not removed the adhesive because we don't want to further damage the pot. Removal of adhesive and cleaning is u
