Nippon, Morimura Gumi porcelain pitcher with hand-painted, blooming pink and white flowers on a rich, golden-yellow ground and raised, moriage dots! Morimura Gumi was the forerunner to Noritake. The blue maple leaf mark stamped on the bottom of the pitcher (Van Patten's #52) was in use from 1891 until 1911.
