AKG K712PRO: Relatively new, but with some issues.

This is the AKG K712 PRO.

I purchased it from a flea market site, and it was listed as "damaged on one side's plastic guide rail."

As you can see in the photos, the side rubber is still taut, and I've also included photos with the ear pads removed, showing that the driver unit area is also clean. The ear pads themselves were replaced upon arrival and have only been used for a maximum of about 20 hours.

The problem is with photos 9 and 10. The appearance of the broken plastic plate was unsightly, and since it didn't seem to cause any problems if removed, I tried to remove it using nippers and a knife. However, during that process, I ended up scratching the crimped part at the bottom of the slider quite badly.

Currently, there's no risk of it coming off, and there are no issues with the headphones' operation. It's not even a part that's usually visible when in use, but I did scratch it quite a bit, so please be aware of that. You can see the scratches clearly compared to the part in photo 8 (I apologize that photo 8 is a bit unclear).

There are no issues with the sound.

I don't feel any particular problems when wearing it on my head due to the absence of that part.

The original cable wasn't included when I purchased it, so I'm including the genuine cable that came with the K702.

There should be a 6.5mm adapter plug, but I can't find it, so I won't be including it this time. (I can include a generic, third-party one if you'd like, so please let me know via a message.)
