The leather is very soft. It looks like it would be stiff but it is very supple and pliable. There are no stains in the inside or outside the Kate Spade on the outside is fading due to age. It was just a pressed into the leather branding.
It’s a great bag if you’re a collector of Kate Spade I’ve had this bag since 2003.
