Vintage book from 1970:
Famous Trees of Texas, edited by John A. Haislet.
Very fun book, considering keeping it but may let it go if someone wants for a decent price.. the condition is very good, inside of the book, pictures and all is good, the binding is a little bit worn but alright. Cover little faded but every copy of this book seems to be that way somehow. There's a few copies going around 70$ .. this one I'm asking around half that realistically.

The book contains brief stories and color photographs of almost one hundred historic or unusual trees across Texas! [And a mask on the inside cover with a map of all the locations numbered by page!]
It was originally published in 1970 by the Texas Forest Service.
Some of the trees mentioned include the Treaty Oak, the Runaway Scrape Oak, and the Goose Island Oak.
The land where the historic Treaty Oak grows was purchased by the City of Austin in 1937 to preserve the tree.
