Sturdy dovetail construction with metal hardware and engraved lid. This box was used for lead-acid battery testing during WWII and Cold War naval operations. One of the two front latches is missing but box still opens and closes properly. A rare collectible for military historians, vintage storage collectors, or rustic display use.
