Set of 2 very old hand carved alabaster ashtrays

Made in Italy in the previous century

They each stand roughly 1" off the table and measure roughly 5x3" & 4x4"

Truly in excellent condition. These were my dad's but I don't know if they were ever used as more than paperweights.

They are quite heavy for their size. My guess is 1-2 lbs each.
