Vans created a collection of Harry Potter-inspired footwear, apparel, and accessories in 2019. The Vans Sk8-Hi Harry Potter Gryffindor was one of the five pairs of shoes to come out of this collaboration.
While one of the five pairs of Vans x Harry Potter shoes was designed to pay tribute to the Daily Prophet newspaper from the book and film series, the others each honored one of the four Hogwarts Houses. The Vans Sk8-Hi was devoted to the Gryffindor House, and it featured both the Gryffindor House colors on the shoe’s canvas upper as well as a large Gryffindor House patch. It also included all the features typically found in any other Sk8-Hi shoe, such as supportive padded collars and rubber waffle outsoles.
