A large-format art book featuring 40 acrylic paintings created by the French visionary painter Jean-Marie Poumeyrol between 1981 and 1986. Poumeyrol depicts abandoned dwellings and workshops with a serene brushstroke, devoid of human presence. This collection evokes a sense of vertigo, as if peering into a world after the sudden extinction of humanity. The cover and spine show some scuffs and peeling. While the exterior condition is not ideal, the interior pages are free of yellowing, stains, and markings, and are perfectly suitable for viewing.
Additional Note: There are various ways to write Poumeyrol in Japanese. Following the example of "Proust," "Pou" is written with a long vowel sound ("プー"). As there is no circumflex accent on the "o" in "rol," it is written as "ロル" without a long vowel sound.
